Sorry for the 3 postings, yes you're right, the original also has different fonts. I am only saying that i would like the watch even more when the fonts were the same. But that's personal. Have a nice day, phlabrooy.

Received my Sea Storm today, picking it up from the post office first thing this morning: no one was home yesterday when the postman attempted to deliver it to my door. The leather case that it came in is awesome! It holds 2 watches, so you figure: you wear one and pack 2 in this awesome travel case...boom! 3 watches for your trip! I have yet to try it on, believe it or not! About to do that now. Will post again with a pic...

Lol, actually no, I'm just grateful that Borealis doing this Fifty-Fathoms homages close to my proposal a year ago.

To be honest, I had cancelled my preorders of Bull Shark and Cascais before. So far, I have only 1 Scout Sniper, 2 Estorils and 3 Sea Storms. Both Estorils and Sea Storms are keepers to me, while I might release the Scout Sniper later.

So no, unlike some members here who bought almost every watches that Borealis makes, I'm not qualified to be a Borealis lover. :p

FWIW, it took my Sea Storm 12 days to arrive here in Texas, regular shipping.

Yup, the pics can't lie, can they? :)

First up, I'll be wearing Ver C non-date BGW9 for an oversea trip for the next two weeks.

    IMG_3353.JPG

Not on stock sailcloth now, but on a nicer, more hardy sailcloth strap that is not afraid of water, yet comfortable enough to wear on all occasions.

    Stay tune. :)

According to the Portugal CTT Tracker, mine left Libson International in the wee hours of the morning on July 26. It is now the eleventh day now and I am certain that the package is stuck in Canada Customs. Also, it could take up to 5 days for the Post Office to deliver the watch to me after it has left Customs! :(

Mine left Lisbon on the same day and has not yet shown up on the Canada Post Tracker. It is probably still stuck at Customs...... :(

I thought I'd share a few photos. of my two Sea Storms. The first photo shows my choices; the A1 and C1, both with date and BGW9 lume. The second and third show a couple of wrist shots of the A1. Finally, the next four show my favorite the C1, on both the OEM strap and a super engineer type II bracelet. Neither of these watches is well regulated, with the A1 running at -9 sec./day, and the C1 running at + 11 sec./day. While both are probably within Seiko's sloppy specs., they are well outside my comfort zone. Also, the bezel on both is very stiff. Fortunately, I don't use the bezel much!
