As much as I also wanted to accept it is a feature.....I dont think it is something that Steinhart intended to do or expect?? Really making it basically unreadable at certain angle and lighting?? I dont think any manufacturer want such an effect?? Also on black sapphire bezel it may look still...
I hope the sapphire bezel wont be very reflective....I have experience with the Steinhart GMT 44 which has a similar sapphire bezel....and it look bad at some angle (making it unreadable sometime, and change the color of the bezel).
I'm thinking of pulling trigger on the blue one since no other in Stock...but I was very concern on the bezel being very difficult to turn? Can anyone enlighten me on this issue?
Oh yes......it's just I think there are sooooooo many Rolex GMT homages out there with the usual steel ....like Steinhart, Squale, and Davosa Ternos (just to name a few)...Having a different titanium and brush or matte will make it unique. (hopefully away from the merc hands too....would prefer...
Oh yeah....but I am sure if Steinhart is able to do it (with their new Ocean 500 TT) which is priced at Euro $500 (that including Swiss movement), I am sure you guys can do it too?? Of course GMT complication will cost a little more. Honestly if Borealis can make this priced between $500-600...
Thanks for the head up....I understand......hope you guys will also consider some GMT dive watch too.......=)...In the meantime I will continue to monitor your upcoming project....
I have been waiting for a GMT watches....but I cant seem to find one in Borealis range. PLEASE Borealis make some.....Really love those combination Rolex and Tudor design...Have it with the following specs:
1. Titanium bracelet
2. Ceramic bezel
3. adjustable or something like Rolex glidelock...
