CuSn8 Bronze + Ceramic + Sapphire + Titanium + Tritium + 1000m + NH35 + Horween = a lot of watch!
Hong Kong based, Aquatico have an interesting value proposition in their new Super Charger Dive 1000 Bronze.
For starters the watch falls into that very rare category of square-cased diver’s watches as it is based on one of Aquatico’s debut models, the Super Charger.
For Holiday 2019 this watch has been redesigned as a 1000 meter water-resistant diver with a CuSn8 Bronze Alloy case with a satin finish.
Dimensions of the watch incl.: a diameter of 43mm, a lug-to-lug measurement of 50mm, a height of 13.50mm, a lug width of 24mm and a weight 135g.
The case is fitted with a CuSn8 Bronze, 120-click diver’s bezel with a black ceramic inlay plus luminous dive-time-scale in BGW9 SuperLumiNova.
The case also gets a Bronze screw-down crown and a flat Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on its inside – beneath the glass is a Sun Ray dial.
The dial comes in a choice of black, blue or green with applied Swiss Made T100 MB-Microtec Tritium tubes (13 in total).
Time is read via a large set of arrow-head hands also with applied Swiss Made T25 MB-Microtec Tritium tubes (3 in total).
On the reverse side of the watch is a hypoallergenic Titanium case-back engraved with Aquatico’s leaping dolphin logo.
Power comes from a 24 jewel, Japanese made Seiko NH35 automatic mechanical movement with stop seconds.
