My interest in watches dates back in the eighties but I have started to really explore the field of horology some 4 years ago. Currently, I have appx. 40 watches but no Borealis so far. I have seen the mostly positive reviews of the different models of this brand on youtube and was impressed by the interesting design and the slim look of some of the models. Two years ago I had remarkable holidays in Portugal and even visited the town of Cascais- was impressed by its picturesque, small square near the beach which was I believe the inspiration for the cobble stone like dial of the Cascais model. So, in June this year I jumped in the Borealis boat by preordering the Cascais version 2 as a nice memorabilia of Cascais and the lovely Portugal.
