Today, Manchester Watch Works launches the third watch in its Iconik series. The Iconik 3, as it is logically named, is a vintage diver inspired by the 1953 Tornek-Rayville military watch.

The Iconik perfectly captures the appeal of early military divers. It has a bead blasted stainless steel case measuring 42.5mm across and 47mm long with a double domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Like any proper dive watch, it is water resistant to 200 meters, has a screw down case back and crown, and a 120-click unidirectional timing bezel. The movement is a Seiko NE15 automatic with 24 jewels, 21,600 bph and a power reserve of over 50 hours. White and black dials are offered, both with "old radium" SuperLuminova, and a 22mm olive canvas strap with leather backing.

The watches pictured are prototypes. The only changes to be made before production will be thinner bezel insert markers, a inner silver ring will be added, and '200/656' will be more legible on the white dial.

Like all watches in the series, the Iconik 3 is limited to 100 units. Pre-orders will run in two tiers for two weeks each. If all 100 sell out in the first two weeks, then there will be no other tiers and pre-orders will be closed thereafter. The first tier pre-orders are just $390 plus $10 domestic shipping or $36 for international shipping. The second tier will be priced at $440 plus shipping. Full price after the pre-order period will be $510 plus shipping.
The first two-week pre-order tier will open 8/29/2016 at 11:00 EST on www.manchesterwatchworks.com and will close on 9/12/2016 11:00EST (which is also when the second two-week pre-order tier will open). Delivery is expected to start late December 2016.
