Rado continues to expand its popular 60s vintage inspired diver family, the Captain Cook.

Now, some 25 models strong, the Captain Cook offers a wealth of diversity within the line. I should mention that not all models are available in all regions.

If you want to see the see the entire lineup of 25 Captain Cook models – head over to Rado’s UK website.

For 2020, Rado has released a trio of Cpt. Cook BRONZE models, a trio of 37MM models on BOR bracelets and these new 42MM 200m models.

BTW 42mm is now Rado’s largest case size – there appears to be no more 45MM.

The new 200m models have slightly slimmer cases with a thickness of 12.1mm whereas the 300m models are 12.3mm thick – so not much in it.

These watches (like the 37mm models) have cleaner dials thanks to the deletion of their depth-rating text.

They are delivered in a rugged leather travel pouch. The kits include:

the watch itself on a BOR (bead of rice) bracelet, a NATO strap which has been matched in a similar color to the dial plus a hand-stitched dark brown leather strap.

The Rado Captain Cook 200M is also offered with a personalized case-back engraving. It comes in four colors: black, blue, grey and green. It has a UK MSRP of £2,000.
