Here's something a little special for die-hard Seiko Prospex fans, a faithful re-creation of a 1965 Seiko classic, endowed with Seiko's most current innovation such a its super-tough Dia Shield coated case and Seiko in-house caliber 8L35 made in the Shizuku-ishi Watch Studio.



The new 1965 Re-Edition SBDX019 is powered by a 26-jewel Seiko caliber 8L35 automatic movement with a manual winding mechanism, a power-reserve of 50 hours, an accuracy of -10 to +15 seconds per day and that all important hacking seconds hand.



Its case measures 39.9mm in diameter with a lug-luge measurement of 47.9mm and a case thickness of 14.1mm.

It is equipped with a screw-down case-back (with historical dolphin logo) and crown, a box-shaped Sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on its inner surface, a unidirectional rotational divers bezel, as well as magnetic-resistance, the watch has a water-resistance of 200 meters.



The SEIKO Prospex 1965 Re-Edition Ref. SBDX019 has been made in a (caseback numbered) Limited Edition of 2000 pieces and has a Japanese MSRP of 350,000 JPY+TAX. It will be available Worldwide.
