This is one seriously trendy Seiko diver - the LOWERCASE-produced Seiko Prospex Diver Scuba Solar has been created under the supervision of well-known brand consultants, LOWERCASE’s creative director, Kajiwara Yukarikei.

The watch comes off the back of a 400 piece Limited Edition Seiko dive watch made for NYC-based FSC’s collaboration with Yoshikage Kajiwara.

Like that model a number of vintage elements have been borrowed from the original 1975 model that first used its iconic shrouded case; however the watch has been designed to be a little more wearable.

The SEIKO Prospex Diver Scuba SOLAR is a Limited Edition of 3000 pieces – in five variants shown here. That blue and gold version is sexy enough to rub over my naked body! [my apologies for putting that images in your head]

Its case constructed with an inner-stainless steel module while with and out casing in hardened plastic. It is fitted with a curved crystal.

Its functions include an overcharge prevention function as well as a quick-start function. Further features of the watch include: hands and dial markers with Seiko Lumibright.

Divers features include: 200m of water-resistance making it suitable for scuba-diving, anti-magnetic-resistance, a one-way bezel, a screw down crown and caseback and a double-locking divers clasp with a push button release.

The watch case has a height of 45.5mm, width of 45.9mm and depth of just 12.1mm. It total weight is 155g.

Power comes from a Solar-driven Driving system, the Seiko Caliber V147 which has an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month.
