Here’s a look at another variant of the Andersmann Oceanmaster I – this is Ref. ANN0813, we previously looked at Ref. ANN0832.

A common feature that all Andersmann models boast throughout the Oceanmaster collections is texturized a matte finished black sandwich dial.

This has a simple yet elegant style with only hour markers and a few simple lines of text present. The clean dial is complemented by a sober set of sword hands.
These, along with the hour markers and the 12hr bezel pip have been filed with an ivory-white luminous material.

The Oceamaster I’s high-grade Stainless steel case with its flattened lateral sides offers more of the same simple yet elegant style –
but not without a certain degree ruggedness which is reflected in its generous 47mm diameter and almost 18mm of thickness.

The Oceanmaster I is endowed with all the typical divers features that one might expect on a Swiss diver of its pedigree.

These include: a screwdown crown and caseback, a 4mm thick double curved Sapphire crystal with a smoked anti-reflective coating and an anti-clockwise unidirectional rotational divers bezel.
The 120-click divers bezel has ceramic black inlay. Water-resistance is a respectable 1000 meters.

Power comes from a Swiss made ETA 2892-A2 automatic movement with hours, minutes, seconds, 42 hours of power-reserve and –
a custom Andersmann rotor that has been decorated with pearlage. This can be viewed through a 4mm thick flat Sapphire crystal caseback.

The Oceanmaster is priced 1680 CHF. It has a limited production of just 100 pieces per year.
It comes on a personalized natural rubber divers strap with an Andersmann signed steel buckle.
