Hello to all. I am from Singapore.
It's been almost 2 years since I had been bitten by the watch bug. Prior to this new hobby I seldom purchase watches which is more than US$70/-. As my country is very humid and I usually swim and bath with my watches, the usual watches I got are limited to Casios with folded links bracelets with rating 50m water resistance and above. In fact, I was sneered by a female friend for wearing such a cheap watch, which I think nothing of that time.
All is different now. I now have a collection of watches, starting from premium brand (a Rolex Sub) to the cheap throw away watches (Timex Weekender). I like affordable and durable watches the most. And micro brands diver watches seems to fit into the catagory I preferred.
Biggest problem I have is my puny 6-6.25" wrist, which limit my selection of watches to mostly not more than 40mm dia, 48mm lug2lug and13mm thickness.
The second problem I have is my old eye sight. Therefore my watches had to be highly legible in order for me to read without my reading glasses. Hence, I favour simple 3 hands design without date complication the most. (You can guess how my user name come about now).
I did not own any Borrealis Watches yet. Probably I will later (looking at Scout Sniper now). Currently, I have an incoming Obris Morgan Explorer II with Miyota 9015 movement.
A good day to every members here. (^_^)
