It has been a bit quiet here at WIAA for a few weeks. Apologies for that – but look around and hopefully you’ll see why.
The old site was starting to look a bit aged, and it wasn’t the most up to date in terms of technology and web standards. I’m an award-winning WordPress developer and I thought it was about time that my own site got some love and attention. I’m thankful to you, the tens of thousands of visitors every month for making my dream of having a voice in the watch industry a reality. Watch It All About would not be possible without you! So it was only right that the site got some love and attention.
So, after my good designer friends and colleagues sorted me out a fresh, new design, I set out completely recoding the site from scratch. And when a site is nearly 8 years old with hundreds of articles, it’s no mean feat.
Every line of code on this site was hand-coded by yours truly, hence the length of time it’s taken!
It’s still very much a work in progress, I’ll be adding more functionality in the future. Please let me know what you think, or if you have a cool idea!
