By TLex Introducing the brand new, ultra-rare Zlatoust Combat Diver 195-ChS 46MM, handcrafted in the same time honored fashion that its predecessors have been by the famous AGAT Clock Factory in the Russian Urals since the 1950s.

It is now the third re-edition of the legendary 191-ChS that once equipped divers of the former Soviet Union from the late 1950s up until the 80s.

The 191-ChS became highly sought after by collectors of Russian military watches but because of the radioactive material that was used to lume its hands and markers and because of its imposing 60MM diameter, it sadly saw very little wrist time despite its extraordinary heritage.

The 192-ChS re-edition stayed faithful to the original in every respect; except of course the harmful radioactive lume, but because it retained the original’s 60MM case size it remained pretty much as unwearable as the historical version was.

Then a friend of mine who happens to be one of the only AGAT dealers outside of Russia collaborated with the AGAT Clock Factory to produce a more wearable 53MM version known as the 193-ChS; allowing fans to finally wear the legendary ‘Vodolaz’ on their wrists.

Well, at least for the weekends as despite its 7mm of shrinkage it was never going to be a daily wearer. However times they are a changing and the trend for over-sized clown-sized wristwatches (that I fell victim to for a while myself) have taken a shift back towards more sensible sizes.

And so the AGAT Clock Factory has once again (in a super limited production) down-scaled its legendary Combat Diver to a very wearable 46MM in diameter.

Specification of the 195-ChS is as follows: a 46mm x 14mm handcrafted Stainless steel case with 700 meters of water-resistance housing a Russian Vostok caliber 2415 automatic mechanical movement with 31 jewels, 19.800 half-rotations/hour and anti-shock-protection, non-radioactive Superluminova and mineral glass.

The 195-ChS comes with a 24mm brown leather strap secured to the case via screwed lug -bolts, a certificate authenticity and a handmade AGAT Clock Factory wooden ammunition box. For reference the strap shown in my pictures is NOT the standard strap.
Price: 625USD. Please CONTACT me for availability.
