I still have my first automatic watch, offered by my grandparents at 12 years old (more or less), I like to wear it some times with a new rubber strap and it is still moving "automatically" : Edma, 1970's, "do not go reverse !", That's how I remember my grandfather instructions from that time...

For a little less money, I will do with a "modest" Breitling : Superocean Heritage 42

Love the Grand Seiko SBGA031 (@admin) and the Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 45th (@dhfraktur), obviously 2 pieces on my short "dream watches" list... But Breguet still stands first, among others : Type XXI, 42 mm, ref.3810TI H2 3ZU... Enjoy !

I still hesitate between full black and green bezel version. It could be my next order for Christmas but still in competition with 2 Seikos (Classic diver 7s26 or new Monster with 4r36 as the Sea Hawk)? Will keep you posted on final choice.
