No, this is something different. It is a tribute to the SM300 from the 1960s. Estoril also has strong connections to the origins of the novel Casino Royale ...
Please do not border with a bracelet on a SM300 homage piece to keep the cost down. As most future owners would probably wear theirs on either a high-quality divers rubber/silicon band or a two-tone NATO/Zulu band. Why not supply both NATO and rubber bands! Just a thought!

Anyone care to chime in on what bands would pair well with a SM homage diver?!

I am so looking forward to see more rendering in the near future.......

Just me only....My wish list for the Estoril.
1) A modernise version of the SM300 with a little twist instead of near identical.
2) Slight domed crystal
3) Lumed bezel
4) case size 42mm
5) relatively thin case eg 10 - 11mm
6) more dial colour option instead of black only

Hi Maria, please make this watch, but limit the size from 39.5 to 41 mm max. Also although the nato and rubber idea is good a President bracelet as I had on my SM300 was very nice and should be included or as an option with extra payment. Even antimagnetic would be cool, but may add to case size as well as expense :(

We have been working on the perfect size of the Borealis Estoril 300m and we find it to be of a diameter of 41.50mm and a lug width of 20mm.

You can find on image attached a render with a diameter of 41.50mm on the left and 41mm on the right. If we are to preserve the fine details of the SM300 from the 1960s ideal size is the 41.50mm as the crown guard looks more balanced.

We are working on specs to have a double domed sapphire crystal, sapphire bezel insert.

This upgrades will considerably increase price of project as all parts are made custom (due to dimensions of watch) so it is impossible to source already made double domed sapphire crystals or bezel inserts as we could do with the Sea Hawk as an example. This reflects in higher costs.

As we want watch to be affordable we will likely not offer it with a bracelet though we can try to work on an upgrade for the interested (pending discussions with factory).

42mm would be great, but I guess 41.5mm is close enough. At least it won't be 40mm .... :)
Couldn't the lugs be 22mm, though ?
Domed sapphire is great. Ceramic lumed bezel would be fine too, I think..... would it be cheaper than sapphire ?
Sword hands are great.
I too, don't think a bracelet is necessary for this one. A Nato or rubber, maybe offer a mesh as an option, in keeping with that SM300 look.....
Do we need a date ? love the 3 6 9 look. Would we really need other dial colours ?
Will the lume be normal or vintage lume colour ?
All that, with a 9015, and it would be an instant winner, Maria !

Regards,
